Narrative:

During a BFR; while doing a short field landing; we looked high enough above the trees that were below us. We heard a snap. After landing we saw that we had scratches on the outer 8 to 10 inches or so of the right wing and the wing tip lights on that side were missing. I believe there was one tall branch. Everything felt and looked fine. In retrospect; prior to a short field landing with a student or during a BFR; I would brief that it does not have to be right at the end of the runway; if there are obstructions.
