Narrative:
At FL310 of rbl, lost cabin pressurization. I (the copilot) was flying and the captain directed me to fly the aircraft. He would accomplish the checklists. We performed the 'rapid depressurization' checklist but were unable to control loss of pressurization. At a cabin altitude of 10,000' performed the 'explosive depressurization' checklist, requested a lower altitude from ZOA, and initiated an emergency descent to 11,000' (traffic) at 10,000'. Evaluated the situation (aircraft condition, pas condition, WX, fuel, etc) and continued toward our destination (kpdx). Landed without incident at pdx with no damage or injury. Post-flight inspection revealed we had lost a section of the forward cargo door seal. Immediate decision of captain to specify which pilot was to fly the aircraft and which pilot would perform the checklists was instrumental in clarifying roles and helped ensure smooth cockpit coordination.

Title: UNCONTROLLABLE LOSS OF PRESSURIZATION CAUSED FLT CREW TO MAKE EMERGENCY DESCENT WITH RECLRNC. FLT CONTINUED TO DESTINATION AT LOWER ALT.
Narrative: AT FL310 OF RBL, LOST CABIN PRESSURIZATION. I (THE COPLT) WAS FLYING AND THE CAPT DIRECTED ME TO FLY THE ACFT. HE WOULD ACCOMPLISH THE CHECKLISTS. WE PERFORMED THE 'RAPID DEPRESSURIZATION' CHECKLIST BUT WERE UNABLE TO CONTROL LOSS OF PRESSURIZATION. AT A CABIN ALT OF 10,000' PERFORMED THE 'EXPLOSIVE DEPRESSURIZATION' CHECKLIST, REQUESTED A LOWER ALT FROM ZOA, AND INITIATED AN EMER DSCNT TO 11,000' (TFC) AT 10,000'. EVALUATED THE SITUATION (ACFT CONDITION, PAS CONDITION, WX, FUEL, ETC) AND CONTINUED TOWARD OUR DEST (KPDX). LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT AT PDX WITH NO DAMAGE OR INJURY. POST-FLT INSPECTION REVEALED WE HAD LOST A SECTION OF THE FORWARD CARGO DOOR SEAL. IMMEDIATE DECISION OF CAPT TO SPECIFY WHICH PLT WAS TO FLY THE ACFT AND WHICH PLT WOULD PERFORM THE CHECKLISTS WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN CLARIFYING ROLES AND HELPED ENSURE SMOOTH COCKPIT COORD.
