Narrative:

An small aircraft level at 3000' was told to reset transponder due to it not appearing on radar. The pilot reported that 'ya'll lose me all the time in this position.' at the same time another controller had a tag drop in the same area northeast of dfw and had a system deviation because the aircraft he was working entered someone elses airspace without a tag. This is happening (data loss) every day, all day in this area and is very dangerous.
