Narrative:
RPM drop en route to south bend, in. Landed without incident in south bend. Mechanic in sbn finds the following wrong with engine: top ignition lead hardware missing, ignition leads clogged with dc-4, battery dead, alternator inoperative, starter inoperable, oil cooler loose, landing light loose, plugs need cleaning and gap, magnetic timing off 12 degree internally, metal found in oil screen, 2 hydraulic tappets bad, cam worn, plane found not airworthy. This plane was rented from FBO in fl. Engine had 1920 hours on it.

Narrative: RPM DROP ENRTE TO SOUTH BEND, IN. LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT IN SOUTH BEND. MECHANIC IN SBN FINDS THE FOLLOWING WRONG WITH ENGINE: TOP IGNITION LEAD HARDWARE MISSING, IGNITION LEADS CLOGGED WITH DC-4, BATTERY DEAD, ALTERNATOR INOPERATIVE, STARTER INOPERABLE, OIL COOLER LOOSE, LNDG LIGHT LOOSE, PLUGS NEED CLEANING AND GAP, MAG TIMING OFF 12 DEG INTERNALLY, METAL FOUND IN OIL SCREEN, 2 HYDRAULIC TAPPETS BAD, CAM WORN, PLANE FOUND NOT AIRWORTHY.
