Narrative:
On returning from a flight with 1 passenger, I overflew the field. Determined wind (left) and traffic (1 USCG helicopter). Announced my intentions 122.9 and 122.8. Crossed over field and entered downwind, announcing again intentions. Configured aircraft for short field landing--fuel, mix, propellers, flaps, airspeed. On base, flaps 20 degrees. On final, flaps full, airspeed 74 KTS. Continued stabilized approach with power 15' per pilot operating manual. Landed gear up--no passenger, pilot injury nor fire. Evacuated aircraft after stop in upright position. Preoccupied with position of helicopter and continued stabilized approach to moderately short field. Lower gear prior to landing!
