Narrative:
Had a circle to land over runway 20 durango airport. Was reporting every 1000' descent and my intentions. Reported also downwind, base, (all left) and final. When my airplane was on final, I saw that one of xx airlines plane's was making a go around approximately 1000' on my right side. I had not heard him reporting positions, and he had probably not heard me. I checked my radio initially with unicom, and they could hardly hear me. Before this flight, I had checked my radio on the ground, and it was working satisfactorily. The reason for this occurrence was that my radio became bad during the flight. I always look carefully for other traffic when I fly at durango airport, because it is an uncontrolled airport, but I never saw xx airline's airplane before he did a go around. It is a common problem at durango airport that the airliners do not follow the published traffic pattern. That can cause situations like this. I am not saying that xx airlines didn't follow traffic pattern, I just became aware of him on final.
