Narrative:
Traffic pattern very busy (sunday). Mixture of experimental, antique, singles and light twins. Using frequency 122.8 I announced entry on a '45' at 1500' MSL, which is correct for this field. Announced downwind, abeam. Announced my base leg about 1 mi from T/D. At that time a twin announced turning final 'over main st,' which is about 3 mi from T/D. He asked, 'what are your intentions?' I said, 'I'm going to land.' I was unable to see the other aircraft and I was not about to start evasive action at this point. He could see me as I was in front of him. As a result, the twin made a successful go around. On landing the twin pilot approached with a very belligerent attitude. I can understand his viewpoint, however it was an event that just happened. The situation just required more care in announcing positions and intentions on the already busy frequency. The twin pilot stated he was going to report the incident, thus my recording of the facts of the situation.

Title: TRAFFIC PATTERN CONFLICT BETWEEN SMA AND SMT AT UNCONTROLLED ARPT.
Narrative: TFC PATTERN VERY BUSY (SUNDAY). MIXTURE OF EXPERIMENTAL, ANTIQUE, SINGLES AND LIGHT TWINS. USING FREQ 122.8 I ANNOUNCED ENTRY ON A '45' AT 1500' MSL, WHICH IS CORRECT FOR THIS FIELD. ANNOUNCED DOWNWIND, ABEAM. ANNOUNCED MY BASE LEG ABOUT 1 MI FROM T/D. AT THAT TIME A TWIN ANNOUNCED TURNING FINAL 'OVER MAIN ST,' WHICH IS ABOUT 3 MI FROM T/D. HE ASKED, 'WHAT ARE YOUR INTENTIONS?' I SAID, 'I'M GOING TO LAND.' I WAS UNABLE TO SEE THE OTHER ACFT AND I WAS NOT ABOUT TO START EVASIVE ACTION AT THIS POINT. HE COULD SEE ME AS I WAS IN FRONT OF HIM. AS A RESULT, THE TWIN MADE A SUCCESSFUL GAR. ON LNDG THE TWIN PLT APCHED WITH A VERY BELLIGERENT ATTITUDE. I CAN UNDERSTAND HIS VIEWPOINT, HOWEVER IT WAS AN EVENT THAT JUST HAPPENED. THE SITUATION JUST REQUIRED MORE CARE IN ANNOUNCING POSITIONS AND INTENTIONS ON THE ALREADY BUSY FREQ. THE TWIN PLT STATED HE WAS GOING TO RPT THE INCIDENT, THUS MY RECORDING OF THE FACTS OF THE SITUATION.
