Narrative:
FAA complained to air show director that I made slow roll passes, although I had presented documents indicating FAA qualifications to do the maneuver from ground level. FAA observer complained to air show director that I crossed the show line (middle of runway 1 and therefore was too close to crowd). 1) wind was a factor. B) I was concerned that another plane below me might pull up to my altitude. When I rolled. Correction: 1) start maneuver further away from show line. 2) make certain other plane(south) will not interfere with the maneuver by increasing distance laterally between aircraft so maneuver can be started and completed on show line. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following: reporter states that he has current aerobatic waiver no altitude restriction he attended the show briefing and signed the show waiver. Therefore, he should be able to perform all briefed maneuvers at any altitude. The real problem seems to be that he possibly crossed the show line and flew too close to the crowd area. This was primarily caused by spacing problems with another aircraft flying at the same time but not in formation.

Title: FAA AIR SHOW MONITOR COMPLAINS ABOUT MANEUVER AND LOCATION OF REPORTER FLT.
Narrative: FAA COMPLAINED TO AIR SHOW DIRECTOR THAT I MADE SLOW ROLL PASSES, ALTHOUGH I HAD PRESENTED DOCUMENTS INDICATING FAA QUALIFICATIONS TO DO THE MANEUVER FROM GND LEVEL. FAA OBSERVER COMPLAINED TO AIR SHOW DIRECTOR THAT I CROSSED THE SHOW LINE (MIDDLE OF RWY 1 AND THEREFORE WAS TOO CLOSE TO CROWD). 1) WIND WAS A FACTOR. B) I WAS CONCERNED THAT ANOTHER PLANE BELOW ME MIGHT PULL UP TO MY ALT. WHEN I ROLLED. CORRECTION: 1) START MANEUVER FURTHER AWAY FROM SHOW LINE. 2) MAKE CERTAIN OTHER PLANE(S) WILL NOT INTERFERE WITH THE MANEUVER BY INCREASING DISTANCE LATERALLY BTWN ACFT SO MANEUVER CAN BE STARTED AND COMPLETED ON SHOW LINE. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING: RPTR STATES THAT HE HAS CURRENT AEROBATIC WAIVER NO ALT RESTRICTION HE ATTENDED THE SHOW BRIEFING AND SIGNED THE SHOW WAIVER. THEREFORE, HE SHOULD BE ABLE TO PERFORM ALL BRIEFED MANEUVERS AT ANY ALT. THE REAL PROB SEEMS TO BE THAT HE POSSIBLY CROSSED THE SHOW LINE AND FLEW TOO CLOSE TO THE CROWD AREA. THIS WAS PRIMARILY CAUSED BY SPACING PROBS WITH ANOTHER ACFT FLYING AT THE SAME TIME BUT NOT IN FORMATION.
