Narrative:
I was in level cruise at 6500' on a VFR flight plan from grand island, northeast, to scottsbluff, northeast. 28 DME out from scottsbluff an express small transport twin appeared in my left windshield and crossed directly in front of my aircraft less than 100 yds away. We were both at the exact same altitude. Due to lack of response time, neither aircraft took any evasive action.
