Narrative:

There were 2 single engine aircraft in the pattern doing touch and goes on runway 35L. Small aircraft X and small aircraft Y. The situation now on runway 35L is: small aircraft Y is first in the pattern, followed by small aircraft X. I cleared small aircraft X for touch and go. When I looked over at the pattern traffic small aircraft X is on approximately 1/2 mi final on the east side of runway 35L, and small aircraft Y is on approximately 1/2 mi final on the west side of runway 35L, both aircraft are side by side. Small aircraft X landed, small aircraft Y turned wbound, then landed on runway 35L. However, sometime during final both small aircraft X and small aircraft Y hit. When there are that many student pilots, I should have discontinued all touch and goes. Both small aircraft X and small aircraft Y landed without further incident, and minimum damage was reported by both aircraft.

Title: 2 SMA'S COLLIDE WHILE ON SHORT FINAL.

Narrative: THERE WERE 2 SINGLE ENGINE ACFT IN THE PATTERN DOING TOUCH AND GOES ON RWY 35L. SMA X AND SMA Y. THE SITUATION NOW ON RWY 35L IS: SMA Y IS FIRST IN THE PATTERN, FOLLOWED BY SMA X. I CLRED SMA X FOR TOUCH AND GO. WHEN I LOOKED OVER AT THE PATTERN TFC SMA X IS ON APPROX 1/2 MI FINAL ON THE E SIDE OF RWY 35L, AND SMA Y IS ON APPROX 1/2 MI FINAL ON THE W SIDE OF RWY 35L, BOTH ACFT ARE SIDE BY SIDE. SMA X LANDED, SMA Y TURNED WBOUND, THEN LANDED ON RWY 35L. HOWEVER, SOMETIME DURING FINAL BOTH SMA X AND SMA Y HIT. WHEN THERE ARE THAT MANY STUDENT PLTS, I SHOULD HAVE DISCONTINUED ALL TOUCH AND GOES. BOTH SMA X AND SMA Y LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT, AND MINIMUM DAMAGE WAS REPORTED BY BOTH ACFT.
