Narrative:
While starting a field standby I reviewed a note about a fom update. I pulled out my ipad to see that it was updated only to find that I had no company app folder. It had been removed from my ipad without my knowledge. That is I had no flight manuals; foms; etc. I asked somebody in the flight office and they said 'yes; hundreds of pilots have had that happen.' that would have been nice to know before I climbed into the cockpit.

Narrative: While starting a field standby I reviewed a note about a FOM update. I pulled out my iPad to see that it was updated only to find that I had no Company APP folder. It had been removed from my iPad without my knowledge. That is I had no flight manuals; FOMs; ETC. I asked somebody in the flight office and they said 'Yes; hundreds of pilots have had that happen.' That would have been nice to know before I climbed into the cockpit.
