Narrative:

Washington national northwest noise abatement procedures. Departure asked us to remain over the river at approximately 3-4 DME from dca during northwest departure. Due to strong northwest winds I was using more bank than usual during departure (25-30 degree) for turns. After turning left for left bend in river at approximately 3 DME, I started rolling into right bank to continue over river and that's when ATC called. I assume due to bank (25 degree left) then rolling to right the aircraft drifted a little south of river.
