Departure (124.3) slc, assigned heading 080 climbing at 10,200. Advised by ATC traffic 1 O'clock 1 mi. Aircraft (small transport) spotted less than 1/2 mi (stationary view in window) with vertical height approximately 200'. Immediate pushover conducted and passed beneath aircraft. Advised ATC of level and slight descent and resumed climb. File near miss report with slc ATC same day by phone.
