Narrative:

Ravnn 3 RNAV arrival into bwi has several hard altitudes instead of at or above altitudes. On an aircraft like the one we flew without VNAV capability this requires a lot of pilot monitoring and vertical speed changes to make the mandatory altitudes. This means all other duties are on the back burner while we try to adhere to the clearance. I was unable to brief the approach until low altitude because I had to insure proper altitudes. This is a safety hazard as too much pilot attention is devoted to flying the STAR.make the altitudes at or above altitudes.
