Narrative:
Currently; there is a need for safety over-runs at the cortland county airport; (N03) because of the type of aircraft flying into and out of the facility. Within the past two years; there have been two aircraft accidents at the cortland county airport (N03) both which could have prevented if safety over-runs were in place. It is my understanding funding is available for such safety enhancements and this report is the proper document to begin the process for the over-run request.
