Narrative:
Call for taxi and was given runway 16L. The runway furthest from our gate. Being relatively unfamiliar with airport and some ramp construction in progress we turned around some blockades. Ground said well you needed to go the other way. We still could have but he then said lets just go to 16R, hold short of runway at hotel. We proceeded down parallel for 16R to barricades at H taxiway. Then saw that by using this runway we would have to back taxi because of closed taxiway. There were a couple of aircraft 3-4 mi out at least. We were cleared to back taxi and cleared for takeoff. Because of the confusion and rush now because of aircraft about 2 out as we commenced takeoff roll. We did not look at SID departure again for 16R which has a left turn at 600 AGL. We took off went to about 2000' AGL before noticing our error, then turned. Departure controller later gave another heading. We let ourselves get rushed and did not discuss takeoff thoroughly. Controller never said anything but we knew we fouled up.

Narrative: CALL FOR TAXI AND WAS GIVEN RWY 16L. THE RWY FURTHEST FROM OUR GATE. BEING RELATIVELY UNFAMILIAR WITH ARPT AND SOME RAMP CONSTRUCTION IN PROGRESS WE TURNED AROUND SOME BLOCKADES. GND SAID WELL YOU NEEDED TO GO THE OTHER WAY. WE STILL COULD HAVE BUT HE THEN SAID LETS JUST GO TO 16R, HOLD SHORT OF RWY AT HOTEL. WE PROCEEDED DOWN PARALLEL FOR 16R TO BARRICADES AT H TXWY. THEN SAW THAT BY USING THIS RWY WE WOULD HAVE TO BACK TAXI BECAUSE OF CLOSED TXWY. THERE WERE A COUPLE OF ACFT 3-4 MI OUT AT LEAST. WE WERE CLRED TO BACK TAXI AND CLRED FOR TKOF. BECAUSE OF THE CONFUSION AND RUSH NOW BECAUSE OF ACFT ABOUT 2 OUT AS WE COMMENCED TKOF ROLL. WE DID NOT LOOK AT SID DEP AGAIN FOR 16R WHICH HAS A LEFT TURN AT 600 AGL. WE TOOK OFF WENT TO ABOUT 2000' AGL BEFORE NOTICING OUR ERROR, THEN TURNED. DEP CTLR LATER GAVE ANOTHER HDG. WE LET OURSELVES GET RUSHED AND DID NOT DISCUSS TKOF THOROUGHLY. CTLR NEVER SAID ANYTHING BUT WE KNEW WE FOULED UP.
