Narrative:
The tower was closed, light freezing rain had fallen at the airport during the past hour and we were notified by company that braking action was fair. On the approach we encountered no freezing rain, the landing was normal and we gave the company a poor braking action report. I wanted to make sure we were slow enough before we made any turns off the runway because of the slippery conditions, so I continued past the first taxiway (approximately mid field) and planned to exit on the taxiway at the end of the runway. I then saw we were approaching an unlighted taxiway. I did not realize the taxiway was closed until we were on it, so continued down the taxiway hoping it would exit onto the active taxiway. It ended short of the active taxiway. I attempted to turn the airplane around and got the left main gear off the edge of the taxiway and was unable to move the airplane. The company was notified and they sent transportation out for the passenger.

Title: FLT CREW OF MLG TURNED ONTO A CLOSED TXWY AT NIGHT IN RAIN, EXCURSIONED OFF THE DEAD END TXWY WHILE ATTEMPTING TO TURN AROUND.
Narrative: THE TWR WAS CLOSED, LIGHT FREEZING RAIN HAD FALLEN AT THE ARPT DURING THE PAST HOUR AND WE WERE NOTIFIED BY COMPANY THAT BRAKING ACTION WAS FAIR. ON THE APCH WE ENCOUNTERED NO FREEZING RAIN, THE LNDG WAS NORMAL AND WE GAVE THE COMPANY A POOR BRAKING ACTION REPORT. I WANTED TO MAKE SURE WE WERE SLOW ENOUGH BEFORE WE MADE ANY TURNS OFF THE RWY BECAUSE OF THE SLIPPERY CONDITIONS, SO I CONTINUED PAST THE FIRST TXWY (APPROX MID FIELD) AND PLANNED TO EXIT ON THE TXWY AT THE END OF THE RWY. I THEN SAW WE WERE APCHING AN UNLIGHTED TXWY. I DID NOT REALIZE THE TXWY WAS CLOSED UNTIL WE WERE ON IT, SO CONTINUED DOWN THE TXWY HOPING IT WOULD EXIT ONTO THE ACTIVE TXWY. IT ENDED SHORT OF THE ACTIVE TXWY. I ATTEMPTED TO TURN THE AIRPLANE AROUND AND GOT THE LEFT MAIN GEAR OFF THE EDGE OF THE TXWY AND WAS UNABLE TO MOVE THE AIRPLANE. THE COMPANY WAS NOTIFIED AND THEY SENT TRANSPORTATION OUT FOR THE PAX.
