Narrative:

We performed the descent and before landing checklists, briefed the approach and go around procedures. The WX was 300 overcast, 1/2 mi visibility in snow. The braking action was reported as poor. It was a good approach, on G/south and localizer and speed was vref +5. First officer said 'looking good' on short final. I landed on the centerline. First officer deployed the lift dumps and I deployed the reversers. I pulled up on the reverser levers and did not feel it slow down or hear reverse thrust. I was concentrating on keeping the aircraft in the center of the runway. I said 'it's not slowing down,' or 'it's not reversing.' first officer said to start easing in the brakes and he pulled on the reversers himself. I eased on the brakes, but did not feel any effect. We were still on the centerline and still very fast. First officer cycled the thrust reversers. I felt the aircraft accelerate slightly and then decelerate slightly. We started to drift left. This was about at the 7000' marker according to our tracks. I tried to correct with rudder and brakes, but it had no effect and the aft kept going to the left. We went off the left side of 35R just before the 8000' marker. The aircraft skidded through the snow and turned almost 90 degrees to the runway. It stopped about 60' off the runway, just before the taxiway (A-2). The right main landing gear had folded. We shut down the engines, told the tower we were all right, and shut off the electrical power. Both of us remained calm and professional throughout the whole event, but couldn't slow it down or keep it from going left. It all happened so fast.

Title: CORP LTT ACFT LNDG WITH BRAKING REPORTED POOR, SLID OFF RWY, DAMAGED GEAR.

Narrative: WE PERFORMED THE DSCNT AND BEFORE LNDG CHKLISTS, BRIEFED THE APCH AND GAR PROCS. THE WX WAS 300 OVCST, 1/2 MI VISIBILITY IN SNOW. THE BRAKING ACTION WAS RPTED AS POOR. IT WAS A GOOD APCH, ON G/S AND LOC AND SPD WAS VREF +5. F/O SAID 'LOOKING GOOD' ON SHORT FINAL. I LANDED ON THE CENTERLINE. F/O DEPLOYED THE LIFT DUMPS AND I DEPLOYED THE REVERSERS. I PULLED UP ON THE REVERSER LEVERS AND DID NOT FEEL IT SLOW DOWN OR HEAR REVERSE THRUST. I WAS CONCENTRATING ON KEEPING THE ACFT IN THE CENTER OF THE RWY. I SAID 'IT'S NOT SLOWING DOWN,' OR 'IT'S NOT REVERSING.' F/O SAID TO START EASING IN THE BRAKES AND HE PULLED ON THE REVERSERS HIMSELF. I EASED ON THE BRAKES, BUT DID NOT FEEL ANY EFFECT. WE WERE STILL ON THE CENTERLINE AND STILL VERY FAST. F/O CYCLED THE THRUST REVERSERS. I FELT THE ACFT ACCELERATE SLIGHTLY AND THEN DECELERATE SLIGHTLY. THE ACFT SKIDDED THROUGH THE SNOW AND TURNED ALMOST 90 DEGS TO THE RWY. IT STOPPED ABOUT 60' OFF THE RWY, JUST BEFORE THE TXWY (A-2). THE RIGHT MAIN LNDG GEAR HAD FOLDED. WE SHUT DOWN THE ENGS, TOLD THE TWR WE WERE ALL RIGHT, AND SHUT OFF THE ELECTRICAL PWR. BOTH OF US REMAINED CALM AND PROFESSIONAL THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE EVENT, BUT COULDN'T SLOW IT DOWN OR KEEP IT FROM GOING LEFT. IT ALL HAPPENED SO FAST.
