Narrative:
During the transition from arrival to instrument approach we had a temporary loss of GPS signal with localizer frequency in active causing the FMS to use dead reckoning for about 10 or so seconds before realization occurred and ATC was able to give vector back to localizer course. Increased vigilance in monitoring of navigational performance [is suggested].

Title: CRJ700 First Officer experienced a loss of GPS signal during approach prior to localizer intercept which resulted in a track deviation and a vector from ATC.
