Narrative:

While at 12000' in the vicinity of crl VOR, flight dhd received clearance from dtw approach control to descend to 6000'. We acknowledged the clearance and began our descent. At 10500' a supervisor advised that the call to flight dhd was intended for another flight and to climb to 11000'. Both pilots on flight dhd agree that the controller's initial call was for 'flight dhd.' we believe he intended for another aircraft to descend when he used our flight #. At any rate, we weren't corrected when we acknowledged the clearance.
