Narrative:
1/2-way between hnl and oak we lost #2 omega. We had lost the #2 omega on previous leg to hnl and #1 omega showed 3 NM error on landing. #2 was 'worked on' in hnl. We did not report loss of omega 2 on either leg, and believing #1 omega to be accurate, continued. Upon radar contact by san francisco radar, we were told we were 31 NM north of proper course. The crew erred in not reporting omega loss to alert ATC of possible errors--but condition of navigation equipment and airplanes in this company is below PAR.
