Narrative:
The winds were light and variable. Traffic had been landing 35L and right. We were cleared for the visual approach 17L. While on base we were asked to switch to 17R. Upon landing we hit the arresting cable on the approach end that was up. There was no damage to the aircraft.

Narrative: THE WINDS WERE LIGHT AND VARIABLE. TFC HAD BEEN LNDG 35L AND R. WE WERE CLRED FOR THE VISUAL APCH 17L. WHILE ON BASE WE WERE ASKED TO SWITCH TO 17R. UPON LNDG WE HIT THE ARRESTING CABLE ON THE APCH END THAT WAS UP. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE ACFT.
