Narrative:
Aircraft was stopped maybe 100' short of the gate because a cabin service truck was parked close along our left side. As wing-walkers and agent arrived, I made an announcement over the P/a for passenger to remain seated with seat belts fastened. At least 2 wing-walkers were visible from my seat, and the one on the left side was holding his arms up and apart, as if to indicate adequate clearance, though he was looking off to our left and shaking his head. I saw someone get in the driver's seat of the truck before it disappeared from my view. The captain very cautiously taxied forward when given a green light, stopping for yellow or red lights (more than once we observed a prolonged yellow light well before arrival at jetway), and opening his window to try to ascertain clearance. After at least 3 stops, the green light came on steadily, and we taxied to the gate. I was not aware that our left position light lens had been cracked until the captain told me in the air carrier pilot lounge. In my opinion, the wing-walker erred in signalling wing-tip clearance when the truck was that close. Additionally, the agent gave some confusing light signals--the yellow light on the with the aircraft not near the gate.

Title: ACR MLG CONTACTS GND SERVICE VEHICLE WITH NAVIGATION LIGHT LENS WHILE EASING INTO GATE UNDER THE DIRECTION OF GND MARSHALLERS. LIGHT LENS IS CRACKED.
Narrative: ACFT WAS STOPPED MAYBE 100' SHORT OF THE GATE BECAUSE A CABIN SVC TRUCK WAS PARKED CLOSE ALONG OUR LEFT SIDE. AS WING-WALKERS AND AGENT ARRIVED, I MADE AN ANNOUNCEMENT OVER THE P/A FOR PAX TO REMAIN SEATED WITH SEAT BELTS FASTENED. AT LEAST 2 WING-WALKERS WERE VISIBLE FROM MY SEAT, AND THE ONE ON THE LEFT SIDE WAS HOLDING HIS ARMS UP AND APART, AS IF TO INDICATE ADEQUATE CLRNC, THOUGH HE WAS LOOKING OFF TO OUR LEFT AND SHAKING HIS HEAD. I SAW SOMEONE GET IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT OF THE TRUCK BEFORE IT DISAPPEARED FROM MY VIEW. THE CAPT VERY CAUTIOUSLY TAXIED FORWARD WHEN GIVEN A GREEN LIGHT, STOPPING FOR YELLOW OR RED LIGHTS (MORE THAN ONCE WE OBSERVED A PROLONGED YELLOW LIGHT WELL BEFORE ARR AT JETWAY), AND OPENING HIS WINDOW TO TRY TO ASCERTAIN CLRNC. AFTER AT LEAST 3 STOPS, THE GREEN LIGHT CAME ON STEADILY, AND WE TAXIED TO THE GATE. I WAS NOT AWARE THAT OUR LEFT POS LIGHT LENS HAD BEEN CRACKED UNTIL THE CAPT TOLD ME IN THE ACR PLT LOUNGE. IN MY OPINION, THE WING-WALKER ERRED IN SIGNALLING WING-TIP CLRNC WHEN THE TRUCK WAS THAT CLOSE. ADDITIONALLY, THE AGENT GAVE SOME CONFUSING LIGHT SIGNALS--THE YELLOW LIGHT ON THE WITH THE ACFT NOT NEAR THE GATE.
