Narrative:
Facility RVR equipment is totally unreliable. TRACON equipment reading considerably different from tower equipment. Caused erroneous information to be passed to pilots. This has been an ongoing problem.

Title: REPORTER CLAIMS THAT RVR EQUIPMENT IS UNRELIABLE DUE TO DIFFERENT READINGS BETWEEN TWR AND TRACON.
Narrative: FACILITY RVR EQUIPMENT IS TOTALLY UNRELIABLE. TRACON EQUIPMENT READING CONSIDERABLY DIFFERENT FROM TWR EQUIPMENT. CAUSED ERRONEOUS INFO TO BE PASSED TO PLTS. THIS HAS BEEN AN ONGOING PROBLEM.
