Crew had the airport in sight at 21 miles and was offered and accepted a visual approach to 31L. Occurrence was at 6;600 feet MSL and maneuver was terminated at approximately 7;500 feet. Crew then proceeded direct to cemek and descended via the charted RNAV visual 31L to a normal landing. Descent rate at time of the occurrence was 1;000 FPM.
