Narrative:
We announced presence 8 mi east of tnt on a w-erly heading with intent to make an ILS low approach on 122.8 (as published on current letdown plate). At 3 mi, saw multi engine jet (at 12 O'clock) heading east and climbing, about 2 mi away. I altered course to northwest to downwind, and then on ILS outbnd downwind had multi pass to the west about 2/3 mi off left wing. Proceeded with ILS approach, calling OM inbound on 122.8, heading 090 degrees. At 600' AGL, safety pilot saw multi-engine jet on missed approach on reciprocal heading; i.e., 270 degrees at about 1 NM. We broke off to the right, heading 135 degrees. Called for a radio check on 122.8 and was told they had another frequency, 123.0. Then heard an air carrier heavy trainer talking about us, and then also heard another air carrier trainer on frequency. We announced we were departing to the southeast. On landing called FSS and requested frequency for tnt, and told the new one of 123.0 eff 1.5 on 90. We were unaware of unicom frequency change.

Title: PLT OF SMA ATTEMPTING A PRACTICE ILS APCH AT TNT OBSERVED 2 ACR TRAINING ACFT IN TRAFFIC PATTERN. PLT OF SMA WAS ANNOUNCING HIS INTENTIONS ON UNICOM, BUT WAS FINALLY ADVISED HE WAS ON THE WRONG FREQ. FREQ CHANGE WAS RECENT.
Narrative: WE ANNOUNCED PRESENCE 8 MI E OF TNT ON A W-ERLY HDG WITH INTENT TO MAKE AN ILS LOW APCH ON 122.8 (AS PUBLISHED ON CURRENT LETDOWN PLATE). AT 3 MI, SAW MULTI ENG JET (AT 12 O'CLOCK) HDG E AND CLBING, ABOUT 2 MI AWAY. I ALTERED COURSE TO NW TO DOWNWIND, AND THEN ON ILS OUTBND DOWNWIND HAD MULTI PASS TO THE W ABOUT 2/3 MI OFF LEFT WING. PROCEEDED WITH ILS APCH, CALLING OM INBND ON 122.8, HDG 090 DEGS. AT 600' AGL, SAFETY PLT SAW MULTI-ENG JET ON MISSED APCH ON RECIPROCAL HDG; I.E., 270 DEGS AT ABOUT 1 NM. WE BROKE OFF TO THE RIGHT, HDG 135 DEGS. CALLED FOR A RADIO CHK ON 122.8 AND WAS TOLD THEY HAD ANOTHER FREQ, 123.0. THEN HEARD AN ACR HVY TRAINER TALKING ABOUT US, AND THEN ALSO HEARD ANOTHER ACR TRAINER ON FREQ. WE ANNOUNCED WE WERE DEPARTING TO THE SE. ON LNDG CALLED FSS AND REQUESTED FREQ FOR TNT, AND TOLD THE NEW ONE OF 123.0 EFF 1.5 ON 90. WE WERE UNAWARE OF UNICOM FREQ CHANGE.
