Narrative:

I was the captain in the right seat with a student captain in the left seat. Our large transport flight departed the gate at XA15 local. WX conditions were overcast and light rain. We stopped on taxiway lima, when the tower cleared us for takeoff. At this time, we taxied down runway 28 toward the approach end of runway 23L. The aircraft was light, and due to excessive speed we were unable to turn onto runway 23L. The large transport does not have nose wheel steering on the right, and I was unable to direct the aircraft onto runway 23L. As a result we crossed runway 23R before we were able to stop, which caused a commuter aircraft to go around. Thereafter we continued to taxi as directed by the tower.

Title: UNABLE TO TURN ON TKOF RWY ACCOUNT HIGH TAXI SPEED. LTT ON APCH 23R HAS TO GO AROUND.

Narrative: I WAS THE CAPT IN THE RIGHT SEAT WITH A STUDENT CAPT IN THE LEFT SEAT. OUR LGT FLT DEPARTED THE GATE AT XA15 LCL. WX CONDITIONS WERE OVCST AND LIGHT RAIN. WE STOPPED ON TXWY LIMA, WHEN THE TWR CLRED US FOR TKOF. AT THIS TIME, WE TAXIED DOWN RWY 28 TOWARD THE APCH END OF RWY 23L. THE ACFT WAS LIGHT, AND DUE TO EXCESSIVE SPD WE WERE UNABLE TO TURN ONTO RWY 23L. THE LGT DOES NOT HAVE NOSE WHEEL STEERING ON THE RIGHT, AND I WAS UNABLE TO DIRECT THE ACFT ONTO RWY 23L. AS A RESULT WE CROSSED RWY 23R BEFORE WE WERE ABLE TO STOP, WHICH CAUSED A COMMUTER ACFT TO GO AROUND. THEREAFTER WE CONTINUED TO TAXI AS DIRECTED BY THE TWR.
