Narrative:
On TYSSN3 arrival at las we were given a 260 head at kaddy and descended to 11000. Then 240 head and 9000. After flying around down low and slow our fuel was getting low. After being cleared for a vis 1L an aircraft was vectored in front of us on 1R shortly after that we were told to go around. At that time we told the controller we were low on fuel and he asked if we were [advising a low fuel state]. Being boxed in a corner we said yes; he then said cleared to land 1L we arrived at the gate with 4.9 on fuel.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: Air carrier flight crew on arrival to LAS reported being vectored around at lower altitude. Eventually they were cleared for a visual to Runway 1L; had an aircraft vectored in front of them for Runway 1R; and were told to go around. They advised ATC of their low fuel state and were then cleared to land Runway 1L.
