Narrative:
We departed charles de gaulle airport routinely, and were cleared to FL290 and climbing on UB4 route. At approximately 40 DME southeast of detling VOR (det), london control was heard to turn air carrier Y to the right. Our heading on UB4 was approximately 310 degree and we were climbing through FL245 when london control gave 'air carrier X' a turn to 360 degree. London control then told air carrier Y to turn 'immediately' to the right. We placed aircraft in a 30 degree bank to the right toward 360 degree and increased our climb rate. London control again asked air carrier Y if he was turning right. His reply was he was in a 45 degree bank to the right. As we rolled out on 360 degree and passing FL265 london control cleared us to proceed own navigation to detling and flight plan route. London control was asked by us as to separation, to which he replied 'less than 500''. Total time of incident was approximately 2 mins. Flight conditions were IMC at all times and other aircraft was never seen. London control, air carrier Y and air carrier X, all advised they would file reports.

Title: ACR WAS ISSUED IMMEDIATE TURN DUE TO CLOSE PROX TO ANOTHER ACFT.
Narrative: WE DEPARTED CHARLES DE GAULLE ARPT ROUTINELY, AND WERE CLRED TO FL290 AND CLIMBING ON UB4 ROUTE. AT APPROX 40 DME SE OF DETLING VOR (DET), LONDON CTL WAS HEARD TO TURN ACR Y TO THE RIGHT. OUR HDG ON UB4 WAS APPROX 310 DEG AND WE WERE CLIMBING THROUGH FL245 WHEN LONDON CTL GAVE 'ACR X' A TURN TO 360 DEG. LONDON CTL THEN TOLD ACR Y TO TURN 'IMMEDIATELY' TO THE RIGHT. WE PLACED ACFT IN A 30 DEG BANK TO THE RIGHT TOWARD 360 DEG AND INCREASED OUR CLIMB RATE. LONDON CTL AGAIN ASKED ACR Y IF HE WAS TURNING RIGHT. HIS REPLY WAS HE WAS IN A 45 DEG BANK TO THE RIGHT. AS WE ROLLED OUT ON 360 DEG AND PASSING FL265 LONDON CTL CLRED US TO PROCEED OWN NAVIGATION TO DETLING AND FLT PLAN ROUTE. LONDON CTL WAS ASKED BY US AS TO SEPARATION, TO WHICH HE REPLIED 'LESS THAN 500''. TOTAL TIME OF INCIDENT WAS APPROX 2 MINS. FLT CONDITIONS WERE IMC AT ALL TIMES AND OTHER ACFT WAS NEVER SEEN. LONDON CTL, ACR Y AND ACR X, ALL ADVISED THEY WOULD FILE REPORTS.
