Narrative:
Our first duty period duration stretched to xe:44; including an emergency regulatory exemption. Just after arriving to the hotel I was informed our next duty period; after a 21-hour duty break; would also press regulatory limits. The scheduler wanted a commitment that the crew would be able to extend. I informed her that such an assessment must be made at the time and cannot be achieved in advance.the company altered records to show only xa:02 (rather than xe:44) of prior regulatory duty thusly making it appear the crew would be legal for more than 30 minutes of extension for the upcoming duty period.
