Narrative:

On taxiout from company hangar after all checklists complete, captain advised first officer aircraft felt tail heavy. Position and hold 24L lax, tower cleared for takeoff. Checklists complete, power applied. First officer held full forward yoke. Tail was still heavy. First officer trimmed once forward pressure. An intermittent horn sounded and abort procedures followed. Speed approximately 80-85 KTS. Exited runway and completed company procedures. Noted trim 2 3/4 units (still in green band). Retrimmed back to original setting (3 1/4) checked throttles, no horn. Completed all checklists taxied for takeoff. Abort and procedures relayed to company. Log book write-up sea. Aircraft had previous write-up and complaint. Light weight aircraft, crew only, no revenue passenger. Warning horn set close proximity to green band.

EXITED RWY AND COMPLETED COMPANY PROCS. NOTED TRIM 2 3/4 UNITS (STILL IN GREEN BAND). RETRIMMED BACK TO ORIGINAL SETTING (3 1/4) CHKED THROTTLES, NO HORN. COMPLETED ALL CHKLISTS TAXIED FOR TKOF.
