Narrative:
Preflight check, everything normal. Wind blowing across runway 15-20 steady. Back-taxi to 32 end of runway after calling intentions on radio. No response. After going slowly for 1000' a sudden very heavy gust of about 60 mph raised right wing and then tail so that plane went over on its nose and left wing and then immediately blew the plane over on its back. This took all of 20 seconds, the plane actually going over slowly. During rollover I turned off master switch, engine and fuel. I was not hurt in any way. Climbed out after releasing seatbelt and called FSS in erie and then local controller to come with crew and right the plane and move back into hangar where it now is.
