Narrative:
I received a position relief briefing from the training team at sector 43/44. I worked the position about 30 minutes before I was offered a break. As I was giving the briefing to my relief I noticed a paper near the sector with dates written on it in highlighter. Before I continued my briefing I noticed that the papers were information on the airshow special airspace. The airspace was reserved as active during the time of my session at the sector; but I was never briefed by the previous controllers of anything. So before I concluded my briefing I outlined the airspace on the scope and briefed my relief that it might be active.the training team/cpc at the position should be aware and brief their relief if the scheduled airspace is active or not. The flm should update the situation board with special use airspace information.
