Narrative:

This is just an advisory report only! Aircraft was in cruise flight at 31000' when the pressurization controller failure causing loss of pressurization. A turn off the airway was initiated and an emergency descent to 10000' was accomplished. Normal/emergency checklists were completed. No injuries to crew or passenger except for some ear problems associated with the descent. An inspection of cabin was completed with no evidence of structural failure. Normal landing at chicago's O'hare airport was accomplished. Extremely excellent help was received from the personnel at chicago center ATC. FAA was notified of this incident and company irregularity reports were also filed. Supplemental information from acn 137106. Rapid descent to 10000' with ATC approval. Paramedics met aircraft but no one required medical attention.

Title: ACR MLG LOST PRESSURIZATION CTL AT FL310 AND MADE A RAPID DESCENT TO 10000'.

Narrative: THIS IS JUST AN ADVISORY RPT ONLY! ACFT WAS IN CRUISE FLT AT 31000' WHEN THE PRESSURIZATION CTLR FAILURE CAUSING LOSS OF PRESSURIZATION. EXTREMELY EXCELLENT HELP WAS RECEIVED FROM THE PERSONNEL AT CHICAGO CTR ATC. FAA WAS NOTIFIED OF THIS INCIDENT AND COMPANY IRREGULARITY RPTS WERE ALSO FILED. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 137106.
