Narrative:
Called for taxi instructions from terminal 'B' west side. Received taxi instructions as 'taxi to 27L via november, x-ray, hold short of 27R on charlie'. We taxied to 'november', then onto 'X-ray' and held short of 27R on 'X-ray'. One aircraft landed on 27R and turned off right at 'charlie'. Another aircraft was 2-4 mi out on final. We again received taxi 'november', 'X-ray' hold short on 'charlie'. I commenced taxi toward 'charlie' which is on both sides north and south, of 27R and then realized that hold short was still part of the message. I then made an immediate left turn onto 'charlie' (heading north) and made a 180 degree turn using 'charlie' and taxiway 'alpha'. We informed ground we were turning around at 'alpha-charlie' and were cleared to 27L after the inbound had landed on 27R. Recommendations: given the 'hold short of 27R on charlie' should have been a routing of 'november' 'alpha', hold short on 'charlie'. If 'X-ray' is intended as the route, the terminology should be 'hold short of 27R on x-ray'.

Title: FLT CREW OF MLG INADVERTENTLY ENTERED ACTIVE RWY.
Narrative: CALLED FOR TAXI INSTRUCTIONS FROM TERMINAL 'B' W SIDE. RECEIVED TAXI INSTRUCTIONS AS 'TAXI TO 27L VIA NOVEMBER, X-RAY, HOLD SHORT OF 27R ON CHARLIE'. WE TAXIED TO 'NOVEMBER', THEN ONTO 'X-RAY' AND HELD SHORT OF 27R ON 'X-RAY'. ONE ACFT LANDED ON 27R AND TURNED OFF RIGHT AT 'CHARLIE'. ANOTHER ACFT WAS 2-4 MI OUT ON FINAL. WE AGAIN RECEIVED TAXI 'NOVEMBER', 'X-RAY' HOLD SHORT ON 'CHARLIE'. I COMMENCED TAXI TOWARD 'CHARLIE' WHICH IS ON BOTH SIDES N AND S, OF 27R AND THEN REALIZED THAT HOLD SHORT WAS STILL PART OF THE MESSAGE. I THEN MADE AN IMMEDIATE LEFT TURN ONTO 'CHARLIE' (HDG N) AND MADE A 180 DEG TURN USING 'CHARLIE' AND TXWY 'ALPHA'. WE INFORMED GND WE WERE TURNING AROUND AT 'ALPHA-CHARLIE' AND WERE CLRED TO 27L AFTER THE INBND HAD LANDED ON 27R.
