Narrative:
Aircraft X checked onto the departure west frequency advised he was climbing through 2000 feet. I was working departure west combined to the south satellite sector. Since aircraft X didn't advise an altitude climbing to I told aircraft X to maintain 9000 feet. However I meant to tell aircraft X to maintain 7000 feet. That is the normal restriction on the departure to the west. Aircraft X was issued traffic for an aircraft descending via the hawkz arrival and advised he had that traffic in sight. He was not told to maintain visual separation with that aircraft because I was working under the assumption he was stopping at 7000 feet. I did not observe the conflict alert activate at any time. [Recommend] decombining the departure and satellite sectors when there is as much traffic as was present.
