Aircraft was on course direct pxv which cut a corner of my airspace. Handoff was made to adjacent sector; bypassing my sector. Combined sectors would have been at the adjacent sector; however; we were open. The aircraft passed through our airspace without a handoff or point out.pay attention to sector configurations.
