Narrative:
We were on a flight to bjj when we made a precautionary shutdown of #2 engine. Due to the longer runways and other equipment available we asked center and were reclred cak. We advised the center of our shutdown, did not declare an emergency or ask for special assistance. Shortly thereafter, we landed west/O incident.

Narrative: WE WERE ON A FLT TO BJJ WHEN WE MADE A PRECAUTIONARY SHUTDOWN OF #2 ENG. DUE TO THE LONGER RWYS AND OTHER EQUIP AVAILABLE WE ASKED CENTER AND WERE RECLRED CAK. WE ADVISED THE CENTER OF OUR SHUTDOWN, DID NOT DECLARE AN EMER OR ASK FOR SPECIAL ASSISTANCE. SHORTLY THEREAFTER, WE LANDED W/O INCIDENT.
