Narrative:

We were enroute to ltag on UW11 in lccc airspace. We were cleared from position velox to vesar. We were talking to nicosia control at our top of descent point and requested a descent. We were told to contact ltaa (ankara) for the descent clearance. There were a number of other aircraft on frequency and it took perhaps a minute before we received a reply from the ankara controller. Her initial statement to us was 'you have entered turkish airspace without permission.' we were on flight plan; with a turkey landing permit. We were not told to contact ltaa early or did we see any requirements to call ankara early for entry into turkey. However; after landing and doing some investigation; we found a note on the actual point vesar that stated to call ltaa 10 minutes early to pass entry information. Only the actual position vesar information box on jepps shows this requirement; the nearby ltaa fir info boxes do not state this requirement. We were having difficulty getting a clearance to commence our descent and we did not see this requirement to call ltaa early.we were in the high workload descent phase with ATC frequency changes and ltag only 130 NM from the fir boundary. It would be very helpful if jepps information boxes that had early reporting procedures to be distinguishable from the normal fir information boxes. Perhaps a different color or notation would be helpful in identifying critical fir entry points that require early communications.

Title: Air Carrier Captain reported crossing into LTAA airspace at VESAR; then detected a note on the VESAR way point requiring a call ten minutes prior to entering Turkish airspace. The reporter suggested that important notes be highlighted in some way on the chart; so as not to be missed.
