Narrative:
We arrived at the aircraft approximately 10 minutes prior to scheduled show. I noticed that our aircraft was being de-iced at the gate. During preflight walk around; the first officer did not notice any ice on the aircraft. There was no precipitation during our preflight preparations. Before pushback; I did a cabin check of the wings and they were clean. Taxi out was normal and tower cleared us for takeoff on runway 01L while still on taxiway D. Takeoff roll was normal; and at approximately 100 knots; the tower canceled our takeoff clearance. I decided with the conditions and our speed to continue the takeoff and told tower we would continue our takeoff. After getting airborne and during aircraft cleanup; the tower told us that 'we hadn't been de-iced.' I told them we had been de-iced; and we continued on with the departure. On climbout; dispatch advised via ACARS that ZZZ operations said 'they didn't deice the number two side.' I advised dispatch that I had seen them de-icing during preflight and was never advised that they didn't complete it. I also ACARS messaged that tower had canceled our takeoff clearance just prior to V1. After talking with dispatch after landing; I think that ZZZ operations had us confused with another aircraft. I have the (company form) that shows our aircraft was de-iced prior to flight deck crew arrival; with type I fluid. Also; the tug driver confirmed we had been de-iced during the pushback. Otherwise; the flight was uneventful.this is a classic miscommunication problem that could have ended with an unnecessary high speed abort on a wet/slippery runway. I don't know of anything else we as a crew could have done to prevent it.
