Pre departure clearance had a revised segment with only one item. It showed catln. The question was; does this mean direct catln? We queried clearance delivery and they said to expect radar vectors to catln. They also said they get many queries from crews on this.

Title: Air carrier Captain reported that while preparing to depart MSY; they received a one word PDC revision which stated 'CATLN.' ATC's response to the crew's query; was expect radar vectors to CATLN.
