Narrative:

I was PNF while departing jfk. Clearance delivery had cleared us for a jfk 3 departure with a canarsie climb. We departed runway 31L and started the canarsie climb. Departure control gave us an immediate right turn to avoid conflict with another air carrier. He (the controller) asked us what climb we were given and we told him it was the canarsie. The controller said we were supposed to be executing the bridge climb instead. I checked the clearance that I wrote down and it definitely said canarsie climb. I imagine the ATC people had a breakdown in communications somewhere.

Narrative: I WAS PNF WHILE DEPARTING JFK. CLRNC DELIVERY HAD CLRED US FOR A JFK 3 DEP WITH A CANARSIE CLB. WE DEPARTED RWY 31L AND STARTED THE CANARSIE CLB. DEP CTL GAVE US AN IMMEDIATE RIGHT TURN TO AVOID CONFLICT WITH ANOTHER ACR. HE (THE CTLR) ASKED US WHAT CLB WE WERE GIVEN AND WE TOLD HIM IT WAS THE CANARSIE. THE CTLR SAID WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE EXECUTING THE BRIDGE CLB INSTEAD. I CHKED THE CLRNC THAT I WROTE DOWN AND IT DEFINITELY SAID CANARSIE CLB.
