Fai 4/sat/90, runway 1L runway lights notamed inoperative. On approach frequency I immediately asked if flare pots were in use. Approach replied yes. I asked if they were in position and operating. Approach replied yes. I proceeded to land with no further event.

Narrative: FAI 4/SAT/90, RWY 1L RWY LIGHTS NOTAMED INOP. ON APCH FREQ I IMMEDIATELY ASKED IF FLARE POTS WERE IN USE. APCH REPLIED YES. I ASKED IF THEY WERE IN POS AND OPERATING. APCH REPLIED YES. I PROCEEDED TO LAND WITH NO FURTHER EVENT.
