Narrative:
I called montgomery tower. When I was 15 mi northeast of the airport they gave me a squawk of XXXX which they give all arrs. They then told me to turn north to avoid the TCA. I turned northeast and continued the approach to the airport. Upon contacting ground I was told to call san diego center. Due to my schedule I had planned to call when I returned to fresno that afternoon. Upon arriving back at the airplane 3 hours later there was a note that I had entered the TCA. I think the event could have been avoided by a more careful study of the TCA chart.
