Narrative:
3 mi east of palmdale VOR, on a VFR flight plan from concord, ca to calexico, the engine developed a very severe vibration. An emergency was declared to edwards approach control, and they gave me vectors to the palmdale airport, where a landing was executed west/O any problems.

Title: HOME-BUILT SMA EXPERIENCES ENGINE PROBLEM, DECLARES EMERGENCY AND IS VECTORED TO LNDG AT EDW.
Narrative: 3 MI E OF PALMDALE VOR, ON A VFR FLT PLAN FROM CONCORD, CA TO CALEXICO, THE ENG DEVELOPED A VERY SEVERE VIBRATION. AN EMER WAS DECLARED TO EDWARDS APCH CTL, AND THEY GAVE ME VECTORS TO THE PALMDALE ARPT, WHERE A LNDG WAS EXECUTED W/O ANY PROBS.
