Narrative:
Atl city VOR scalloping and not reliable for navigation. We were off course 5 mi due to VOR. This VOR had a lot of waves in it, so normally we take the average and fly into the VOR on a heading that keeps the course as close as possible. This is an intermittent problem with acy VOR.

Title: COMMUTER MDT TRACK DEVIATION ALLEGED BECAUSE OF VFR SCALLOPING.
Narrative: ATL CITY VOR SCALLOPING AND NOT RELIABLE FOR NAV. WE WERE OFF COURSE 5 MI DUE TO VOR. THIS VOR HAD A LOT OF WAVES IN IT, SO NORMALLY WE TAKE THE AVERAGE AND FLY INTO THE VOR ON A HDG THAT KEEPS THE COURSE AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE. THIS IS AN INTERMITTENT PROB WITH ACY VOR.
