Narrative:
ATC clearance included a SID. I had looked at the SID when planning the route before filing the flight plan in order to choose a departure fix. I did note that turns were depicted and that there was an airspeed restriction but I did not review the details, as scheduled departure was a couple hours away. As we were taxiing we were asked to expedite in order to depart ahead of arriving traffic. Anticipating a delay we were taxiing on one engine. In the rush to complete an engine start and complete the before takeoff checklist I failed to review the SID. After a hurried departure, I asked the PNF about the speed restriction. He had not reviewed the procedure at all. Departure control informed us of the turn which we had not begun and of the maximum speed which fortunately we were not exceeding. The bottom line cause is that I allowed myself to become rushed in order to save a short departure delay. Stress is also a large factor as my employer and I have very different views on how operations should be conducted. This incident is only one of several that have occurred in the past yr. I feel that this operation lacks adequate standards and that professionalism has been sacrificed to profit and an effort so save mins. I turned in my resignation last week. Right or wrong I have to be able to live with myself.

Title: ATX FLT CREW DEVIATES FROM SID.
Narrative: ATC CLRNC INCLUDED A SID. I HAD LOOKED AT THE SID WHEN PLANNING THE RTE BEFORE FILING THE FLT PLAN IN ORDER TO CHOOSE A DEP FIX. I DID NOTE THAT TURNS WERE DEPICTED AND THAT THERE WAS AN AIRSPD RESTRICTION BUT I DID NOT REVIEW THE DETAILS, AS SCHEDULED DEP WAS A COUPLE HRS AWAY. AS WE WERE TAXIING WE WERE ASKED TO EXPEDITE IN ORDER TO DEPART AHEAD OF ARRIVING TFC. ANTICIPATING A DELAY WE WERE TAXIING ON ONE ENG. IN THE RUSH TO COMPLETE AN ENG START AND COMPLETE THE BEFORE TKOF CHKLIST I FAILED TO REVIEW THE SID. AFTER A HURRIED DEP, I ASKED THE PNF ABOUT THE SPD RESTRICTION. HE HAD NOT REVIEWED THE PROC AT ALL. DEP CTL INFORMED US OF THE TURN WHICH WE HAD NOT BEGUN AND OF THE MAX SPD WHICH FORTUNATELY WE WERE NOT EXCEEDING. THE BOTTOM LINE CAUSE IS THAT I ALLOWED MYSELF TO BECOME RUSHED IN ORDER TO SAVE A SHORT DEP DELAY. STRESS IS ALSO A LARGE FACTOR AS MY EMPLOYER AND I HAVE VERY DIFFERENT VIEWS ON HOW OPS SHOULD BE CONDUCTED. I TURNED IN MY RESIGNATION LAST WK. RIGHT OR WRONG I HAVE TO BE ABLE TO LIVE WITH MYSELF.
