Narrative:
Requested NDB approach to lbe. Cleared for NDB approach, radio reception was poor, clearance was read back. On reporting FAF inbound, we were asked what approach we were shooting, ILS or NDB. There was another airplane waiting for an approach, he was told #2. There seemed to be some confusion between our aircraft and the other aircraft. Radio reception was poor.
