Narrative:
Clearance was swann direct bross direct ood. As we were inbound on eno 271 degree right between swann and bross, center advised reported turbulence along our route, so captain (PF) decided to make cabin announcement and also advise about ETA, etc. When we reached bross he started left turn. I then noted time, etc on fltlog. With attention diverted I didn't notice bank shallowed. Captain was busy with passenger announcement and also didn't notice. Center called and asked what our clearance was. I answered and center advised we were well right of course. I have flown this departure several times before and this is first time we did not receive vectors or clearance to ood prior to reaching bross. Center said there was no conflict, but we were nearing arrival corridor for bwi traffic. This situation developed due to inattn of both pilots and failure to use full capabilities of aircraft. Captain was manually flying aircraft when making passenger announcement during departure. If autoplt had been connected to INS, the aircraft would have continued proper turn. Also I think I should have watched what was happening closer rather than trusting what captain was doing. Also center thought we would be going inbound on ood 235 degree right. This is not exactly the same as going direct to bross, then direct ood, so we ended up even further right than center expected us to be due to slight different in rtes and shallowed bank.

Title: HEADING TRACK DEVIATION.
Narrative: CLRNC WAS SWANN DIRECT BROSS DIRECT OOD. AS WE WERE INBND ON ENO 271 DEG R BTWN SWANN AND BROSS, CENTER ADVISED RPTED TURB ALONG OUR RTE, SO CAPT (PF) DECIDED TO MAKE CABIN ANNOUNCEMENT AND ALSO ADVISE ABOUT ETA, ETC. WHEN WE REACHED BROSS HE STARTED LEFT TURN. I THEN NOTED TIME, ETC ON FLTLOG. WITH ATTN DIVERTED I DIDN'T NOTICE BANK SHALLOWED. CAPT WAS BUSY WITH PAX ANNOUNCEMENT AND ALSO DIDN'T NOTICE. CENTER CALLED AND ASKED WHAT OUR CLRNC WAS. I ANSWERED AND CENTER ADVISED WE WERE WELL RIGHT OF COURSE. I HAVE FLOWN THIS DEP SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE AND THIS IS FIRST TIME WE DID NOT RECEIVE VECTORS OR CLRNC TO OOD PRIOR TO REACHING BROSS. CENTER SAID THERE WAS NO CONFLICT, BUT WE WERE NEARING ARR CORRIDOR FOR BWI TFC. THIS SITUATION DEVELOPED DUE TO INATTN OF BOTH PLTS AND FAILURE TO USE FULL CAPABILITIES OF ACFT. CAPT WAS MANUALLY FLYING ACFT WHEN MAKING PAX ANNOUNCEMENT DURING DEP. IF AUTOPLT HAD BEEN CONNECTED TO INS, THE ACFT WOULD HAVE CONTINUED PROPER TURN. ALSO I THINK I SHOULD HAVE WATCHED WHAT WAS HAPPENING CLOSER RATHER THAN TRUSTING WHAT CAPT WAS DOING. ALSO CENTER THOUGHT WE WOULD BE GOING INBND ON OOD 235 DEG R. THIS IS NOT EXACTLY THE SAME AS GOING DIRECT TO BROSS, THEN DIRECT OOD, SO WE ENDED UP EVEN FURTHER RIGHT THAN CENTER EXPECTED US TO BE DUE TO SLIGHT DIFFERENT IN RTES AND SHALLOWED BANK.
