Narrative:
Took off on runway 5 at norfolk. After gear retraction we got a left main gear light indicating either the left main gear was not fully retracted or the gear doors were not fully closed. We recycled the landing gear. We got a good gear down indication; however, we still got the left main gear light on retraction. We then proceeded to our destination with the airspeed below gear limit speed. Gear extension was normal. Landing was normal. While taxiing in, another aircraft told us we were missing a main tire. We stopped there and were towed in.
